Do you have any plans for this character in the game? Abel is from Heaven and has been there for A Long Time (TM) so the plans I have currently are him absolutely throwing himself face first into the whole friendly and good thing since that's kind of Heaven's thing anyway and given he seems to be good friends with Emily, who is the seraphim that deals with happiness and such, it's kind of his thing. He's also totally running away from what happened in canon at the end of season two and away from his responsibilities, don't tell anyone.

Did your character willingly come to Iyashikei? If yes, why? Absolutely. The whole idea of the place is right up his alley and he could use a vacation from the responsibilities thrust upon him via his dad's death.
Will they need any special accommodations upon arrival? Probably not? He's pretty normal human shaped and in good health other than maybe a bit of a doorway accommodation for his wings.

Character's History: Bap!

Questions:

1. Tell us about who your character is and what someone’s first impression would be upon meeting them. How would your character act once someone got to know them? Abel is literally the first human to die both in general and as well as being the first murder victim and martyr of the Earth. He is one of Adam's (yes the biblical Adam from the Garden) children and was murdered by his brother Cain. We don't know much else about what was and was not kept between the biblical version and Hazbin Hotel's version at this time. As for Hazbin Hotel's canon he's also the newest leader of the Exorcist angels after his dad was killed by Niffty in Hell. The first impression someone might get from him is that he's extraordinarily chill and kind for the most part, if not a little bit of a coward when it comes to conflict, much preferring to be a neutral ground than push against someone. When they get to know him it's clear that the kind and chill part of him is not remotely and act and he's pretty much down for doing anything good for the most part. Whether that is going to movies, hanging out with friends, or getting involved in the welcoming committee for a new soul in Heaven via singing or offering gift baskets.

2. What is something unique and interesting about them, or what is a fun little tidbit that sets them apart from the crowd? Other than the whole being literally the Abel from the Bible? (don't throw tomatoes, this is a joke.) He's oddly the entire foil to his dad, Adam, in canon. Adam was an absolute chauvinist and dickhead of a character that wanted to just outright murder Hell. Abel, however, is one of the people to immediately jump to trying to make peace with Hell and working with Charlie to try and get all the misunderstandings worked out so that they can be on friendly terms. He also seems to be extremely not on board with Lute's wanting to murder all of Hell for killing Adam, even if he drops hints that he did care about his dad but doesn't seem to blame Hell for what happened. Another fun tidbit is that this utter goober is voiced by Patrick Stump, the lead singer for Fallout Boy.

3. What does your character think their flaws are? What do they think their strengths are? What are their actual flaws and strengths? Oh, Abel 10000000% thinks his number one flaw is that he isn't his brother, the braver son. This is explicitly stated in Abel's part in Hear My Hope at the end of the season. He doesn't know what to do and wishes that he was anyone else in a conflict because he doesn't think he is brave. But the interesting part is that he does pull himself together during that crisis to grow a backbone if only for a moment, in order to do the right thing and stop a fight and probable murder that did not need to happen in the first place. He thinks his actual strength is for bringing spirits up which, while it is, is not the extent of it at all. His actual big flaw is the fact he doesn't believe in himself and consistently thinks he's not good enough or isn't able to do something when he absolutely is able to do so. As for his biggest strength it's the fact that he can adapt as is needed and cares about the people around him more than himself most of the time and can pull himself together in order to do the right thing.

4. What is a common misconception other characters have about your character? Hilariously it's that he's just a normal angel if they aren't aware of his name. While he doesn't think it's a big deal, it kind of is, since it puts him in a tier above the regular winners and angels for the simple fact of his everything. There's also the misconception that he is a total doormat which, while it shows a lot of the time due to him putting himself down into that category, he really is powerful when he needs to step up and when it becomes necessary. He's nowhere near as open about it or prone to throwing it around like his dad, but he is his father's son when it comes down to needing to act.

Character Abilities: Honestly, there's only two magical abilities we know about Abel currently and those are:
1. Aureole: where he can surround himself in a light source and primarily uses it in order to draw attention to himself or when he's trying to exert some authority over others or a situation. It does not grant those abilities, it's more like making his own spotlight.

2. Pyligenesis: he can literally summon a portal to access Heaven and Hell. Which he obviously will not have here.
