Why would I ever curse you out??? And I don't think I've ever had any reason to kill a demon or anything like that. But I wasn't exactly the most... violent type of person even when I was alive.

But in semi-positive news it left me to be in charge of the Exorcists and I'm absolutely on board with the whole no more murdering people thing.

Is that what happened when he died? I heard that there was a lot of things that happened after the angels were defeated but I'm just glad that things are looking positively!

[This next response comes a few seconds later. Probably closer to a minute.]

[It's going to take him a while to sit on that conversation on the network and figure out what might strike the right balance of being useful to Abel, fun for him, and not crossing anyone's lines. That's a challenge, but after a day or two, he's pretty sure he's got something workable.]

[Honestly, he'd figured he wasn't interested and Abel had merely shrugged it off and went back to businesses as normal. Which is why it takes him a little bit to reply, being distracted with his usual routine.]

No worries. I'm at the building Husk's working on getting set up as a bar, and I'm gonna be here all day so you can come over whenever you're ready.

[Maybe a little more than an hour while Abel quietly fretted about if he needed to bring anything with him. He'd settled on he probably didn't but he'd still give through a few different clothing options before he stopped on something.

Luckily he finds the place ready enough and he clears his throat once he quietly steps through the door, wings pulled close to his back. Once in he sheds the heat white and gold jacket and places it over his arm to show the outfit he'd decided on. Casual but also easy enough to move in if necessary. His free hand runs through his hair, smile never fading.]

Hello?

When he gets there, he'll find Angel halfway-sitting on a bar stool - which might look a little funny when the bar itself is definitely not done being built behind him. His clothes are pretty casual, too: the usual boots and short shorts, and an oversized light pink t-shirt that loosely drapes off one of his shoulders. Fat Nuggets is sitting in his lap.

"Hey." He gives that outfit choice an appreciating look-over as the pig hops off his lap to curiously approach the new person. "Good timing. Everybody else is out running errands, so we've got the whole place to ourselves for a while." Not that they need it, but Angel is already aware of how sounds can carry in here, so not having immediate eavesdroppers makes things easier. He waves a hand in gesture to the pig, since he seems inclined to be friendly right now. "That's Fat Nuggets."

It's a work in progress or something, he's absolutely not judging when he usually sits on the ground outside these days. Or in the little barn things the sheep can go into if it gets cold, humble beginnings or whatever. His own gaze casually looks over what Angel's wearing before it's quickly torn away to the little hellpig. He may not look like a normal of, exactly, but he's still cute and Abel is a fan of animals in general.

Without hesitation he kneels down to offer his hand to Nuggets to sniff, even while listening to Angel. "Is it? Mm, sometimes I'm good at thinking without meaning to be." Oh and the pig's name is great. "Fat Nuggets, huh? A pleasure to meet you, too, little one~"

He smiles, watching Abel kneel down to greet the pig and Fat Nuggets seem to immediately warm up to him. That's a good sign. Nuggs is pretty friendly in general, but he's always been a good judge of character. He never liked Val much.

"Seems like he likes you," he comments lightly, getting up off the stool and coming to join the two of them knelt down on the floor. Nuggets glances at him as if waiting for him to reach out and pet him, but when he doesn't do that right away, the pig leans into Abel's hand instead.

"So did I read it right that you ain't looking for sex here?" He may as well get into that conversation. That's another advantage of nobody being around right now, being able to just talk casually around petting the pig to start.

[ It's late, like stupidly late. He'd originally said he was going to stay on Lute's couch tonight, but after his run-in with Lucifer and being punished by the Council, Adam had been wandering around for hours on end, just thinking and feeling, and he was exhausted.

Adam was just standing, looking at Abel's place; there wasn't a light on, and he didn't want to just turn up unannounced for some reason. All he could think about was how Lucifer felt about Charlie. How much he loved and adored her and how he would do anything to spend time with her, to be needed by her... Fuck did Abel even want to see Adam ever? Still, he calls on the off chance he's awake... ]

Hey, it's er, its Dad.... You up? You're probably not. Sorry, I'll come back in the morning.

[Unfortunately, or fortunately, Abel was still up, merely reading in his bed by a few candles instead of dealing with actual lights. He'd quiet for the longest moment as he hears that voice message. Weird, he thought he would've been with Lute, too.

He doesn't respond to it but instead moves to the door to open it, a robe wrapped around him and feet in slippers.]

The door's never locked, you know. [He shifts to let him in the doorway, expression soft and mostly neutral for now.]

I can get some hot water going or just regular water if you want? [AKA: You look like shit.]

[ Adam made the very wise decision not to go back to Lute's place after his fight with Lucifer, for the sole reason he didn't want anymore fighting. Not tonight. Not now. Maybe that was mostly chalked up to the fact he was currently (and for the foreseeable future) suffering with all of the Fallen Angel's emotions as well as his own... And let me tell you, Lucifer has some issues... ]

I know... Just didn't want to burden you... I should just claim a place of my own-- Yea, I'll do that in the morning...

[ Was that the way he felt or something Lucifer would have felt? God it was all blending into one... ]

[ Looking at the blood on his robes and feeling the way his eye was starting to turn into a pretty black eye where his forehead had smashed into Lucifer's - ]
